The Institute is located adjacent to a posh South Delhi Colony, Vasant Kunj and is very well connected with Delhi Metro and maximum number of bus routes of Delhi & NCR.

In no time, the Institute has achieved the distinction as one of the best equipped institute in Delhi. The Institute boasts of having adequate numbers of competent faculty members with other required facilities such as Computer labs, Electronics& Communication Labs, Medical Labs, Mechanical & Electrical Workshop and Library.

The Institute has not only been providing good quality technical education in their respective fields but also has been encouraging the students to work on their soft skills which is equally important in today’s job scenario. To achieve this goal, students are taken on educational visits / tours to different organizations and various technical and non-technical seminars / workshops / short term training programmes are conducted throughout the semester to help students improve their employability skills.

AIT is also an Institutional Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) to remain in touch with the latest trends in technical education.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH POLYTECHNIC

In addition to providing diploma level education, the Institute also runs a Community Development Scheme under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India since December 1999 for the benefit of SC/ST/OBC, less educated and under privileged sections of the Society in which vocational training is imparted with the financial assistance from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. A large number of rural and less educated boys and girls are getting skill-oriented vocational training under this scheme which aims them to be self-reliant.
